The name EqLab is based on two parts: "Eq," which is an abbreviation of the English word "Equilibrium," representing the state we find ourselves in when on the verge of our comfort zone. It is where we access our greatest potential, where we develop the most, grow, and are creative.
The boundary/balance is "the point of equilibrium," and it is from that point/balance that brave people do brave things. Another dimension of Eq is also "Emotional IntelligentQvot," which is a factor often overlooked in technical contexts but is equally important.
The second part, "Lab," represents my dream of creating an "inventor's workshop" where tools are available, and both young and old can work to express their innovation and creativity.
